Gibson Exhaust Performance Headers Reviews

A must buy for any vehicle!

Reviewed By Robert M (MEMPHIS, TN) Reviewed for a 2012 Chevy Avalanche —6/4/2014 9:07 PM

These headers instantly provided more HP and gas mileage. If you are on the fence about purchasing headers, you shouldn't be, these headers are exactly what I was hoping for. I've purchased a cold air intake, gibson dual exhaust and superchips power programmer over the past years. The headers provided the most noticeable HP and MPG gains. Only issue was the lack of detailed instructions when removing exhaust manifolds. Additional tools required, O2 sensor removal required and not mentioned.

Flowmaster Exhaust Systems Reviews

quieter then i thought

Listened to a lot of videos on the flow master 50 series for Chevy trucks and they sound a lot louder in video then in real life. Also bought a k&n intake and installed it same day. It has a pretty good tone and all the piping fit perfect. It took about a week for the truck to get used to it. I had a huge lag in throttle response for about a week. Sounds good enough though I guess.

Borla Exhaust Systems Reviews

Nice sound but not loud enough

Reviewed By jesse b (Saint Peters, MO) Reviewed for a 2007 Chevy Avalanche —4/17/2015 2:44 PM

I bought the cat back system and it gives it a better rumble over stock but not as loud as I would like. With that being said I started the truck up with only the catalytic converters on and it was tame in comparison to what I have heard with open headers on other v-8s. I might have to purchase the high flo cats as well
