Awesome exhaust

Installation was easy & I'm by no means a mechanic. Prior to installing this, acceleration seemed louder in the cab & the bulk of the noise came from the engine compartment (I already had a cold air kit, but factory exhaust). Now the truck has more power, inhales/exhales easier & acceleration noise is more from the exhaust & sounds a LOT better. The touring sounds beefy at startup & acceleration (not overpowering) & is quiet at cruising speeds. Perfect!! Would buy again in a heartbeat.

Flowmaster Exhaust Systems Reviews

quieter then i thought

Listened to a lot of videos on the flow master 50 series for Chevy trucks and they sound a lot louder in video then in real life. Also bought a k&n intake and installed it same day. It has a pretty good tone and all the piping fit perfect. It took about a week for the truck to get used to it. I had a huge lag in throttle response for about a week. Sounds good enough though I guess.

I ordered the extreme set thinking it might be too loud. Instead I was a bit disappointed that it was so quiet. Upside is it looks great sounds nice low rumble and no highway drone what so ever. Also actually getting a mile per gallon better mileage on my last 2000 mile trip after I installed it. Installation instructions are poor. Exhaust pipes somewhat confusing as to which end goes to rear and forward from muffler to tips. I figured it out after a few tries. Better instructions would be great
