Very pleased with the metal mulisha exhaust. Not too quiet, not too loud. Girlfriend hates it so it must be good. Woke up my 5.3 a bit and got my 33's turnin better. I drive like a demon with the runs and Have yet to get pulled over, so that's good.

Flowmaster Exhaust Systems Reviews

Great Exhaust

Reviewed By dan l (RESTON, VA) Reviewed for a 2010 Chevy Silverado —12/23/2014 5:24 AM

I purchased the Flowmaster Force II cat back exhaust system on 12/5/14. I had a shop install it on my 2010 Silverado about 1 week later. The install was smooth and the sound is great. One of the bolts was bent and stripped and AA has stated that it was sent out twice, though I have never received it. That is a small issue. In the less than 2 months since the Flowmaster was installed, it has become very rusty (pipes, spots on muffler, hangers). It looks much much worse than the stock system that it replaced that was 4 years old. After several calls to Flowmaster and AutoAnything, it appears that I have no recourse. AA customer service has been polite but not able to help. One individual from Flowmaster tech support was very dismissive, short and was not interested in seeing pictures or even discussing the issue. I then spoke to a supervisor that was willing to listen after I cooled down and called back. He told me that I should/should have painted the product with some high temp paint and that the Force II would develop surface rust. He went on that if it were to ever rust out then the warranty would cover it. The warranty covers defects in product, not replacement labor costs. I understand the different grades of stainless steel (304 vs 409) and that the 409 that Flowmaster uses will show some surface rust that, per Flowmaster, will not rust thru all the way. However, if I knew that it would look this bad in less than 60 days then I would not have bought it, rather I would have spent a few hundred (or less) more and bought a Borla type product that uses 409 stainless. In summary, Force II sounds great, looks rusty horrible after less than two months. I live in Virgina and so yes, they do use some salt on the roads, but it has not been that bad o far this year and the truck is also not my daily driver. Spend some extra money and get a better product and know going in that your exhaust system will be covered with rust very quickly. I would rate the product a 2 star now after 2
