"Sounds great and super easy install. Took about 40 minutes from start to finish. A single pipe is all you really need with the 5.3, dual doesn't get you much more for your dollar. I also put a 3" cat back MBRP system on my 2007 Silverado and love it. You seem to get the most out of this system if you also Superchip your Chevy. To me, they go hand in hand but it's your buck." —Vanessa A from Federal Way, WA bought a MBRP Exhaust Systems for a 2001 Chevy Tahoe, 5.3L V8.
"looks great and sounds good. its not too loud but it sounds good. i can feel the power boost and i dont know if it has saved gas yet but overall i am pleased with the product." —Sean S from Willow Spring, NC bought a Flowmaster Exhaust Systems for a 2001 Chevy Tahoe, 5.3L V8.
"I installed a SuperMAXX system on my Tahoe a few months ago. It was very easy to install with basic hand tools. The exhaust looks beautiful and fits great. I had one issue with the passenger side header barely touching the frame. I had to give it a little dimple so it wouldn't rattle. Other than that the installation went smoothly. I waited to write a review until I took it out on a trip. First the exhaust sounds great. It has a nice throaty sound that does not drone in the cab. Second I noticed a nice increase in power. The truck did not downshift climing several hills that it used to downshift on. Finally I noticed an increase in MPG. It was a small difference, but hey, with gas being $4 a gallon any improvement is GREAT!!" —Chris H from Live Oak, TX bought a Dynatech SuperMAXX Complete Header Exhaust Systems for a 2001 Chevy Tahoe.
"I purchased a Borla cat back for my Tahoe and it arrived promptly from autoanything. During installation I discovered that one of the accuseal muffler clamps would not go on over the muffler inlet pipe so I phone Borla about the problem with the newly release cat back system. After a week and a half I received another one of the same size (2 1/2 inch) - it did not fit either. Another few days and I received another larger one (3 inch) and it was too big. I got tired of waiting and order one from an aftermarket company and two days later I had a 2.75 inch that fit. NO EXCUSE for Borla to not know the original did not fit and NO EXCUSE for me to have to wait for almost 2 weeks before I gave up on Borla and bought one from somebody else. Autoanything did a great job. Too bad Borla customer service was not as good given the price of the system" —Brett C from Colorado Springs, CO bought a Borla Exhaust Systems for a 2001 Chevy Tahoe.
