"Great product, great sound, easy to weld on and came freight free just as advertised. Only problem is that chrome exhaust tip is already starting to discolor and rust.....must be a poor plating procedure. "Put these on my 2005 Tahoe and am very happy with the sound. Was concerned it might be too loud as this is the family vehicle and didn't want something that was obnoxiously loud. This system is perfect! Sounds deep and throaty at start-up like a big V-8 should but has a nice sound while driving around. If you're on the fence, go for it! You won't be sorry! Easy to assemble, looks great and sounds AWSOME!!" —Gregg S from Union, OH bought a Gibson Exhaust Systems for a 2005 Chevy Tahoe, 5.3L V8.
"it wasn't so easy to install. the instructions are brief.
but the quality of that product is excellent. u cant expect more!" —Huffam A from Springfield Gardens, NY bought a Borla Exhaust Systems for a 2005 Chevy Tahoe.

"First off my oem muffler heat sheild cracked like 3 times on me and was tired of getting it tacked back down my the local muffler shop.. I was intrested in the gibson thinking it was going to be as quiet as the oem.. which it is once the truck is in od. but as i as gaining speed it is a little louder than i would want.. but it is manageble..just turn the radio up a little bit louder.. :)
i like the look.. but i have a 1 lower afterstock spring on the back which i think is a problem.. the tips of the muffler are rubbing... so i need to bend the pipes downward a little bit.. which i am looking at try to get done.. other than that.. they are nice...
one suggestion... make sure u have a saz-all to get the oem muffer out... there is not other way to get it out without cutting it.." —Jamie G from Pasadena, TX bought a Gibson Exhaust Systems for a 2005 Chevy Tahoe, 5.3L V8.
