2007 Tahoe American Thunder Flowmaster

Reviewed By jason m (Flower Mound, TX) Reviewed for a 2007 Chevy Tahoe —2/15/2010 8:30 PM

Very nice. I installed on my wife's tahoe along with a Volant Air intake. Woke up the sound. Driving down the hwy nice easy conversation with the radio off. A little drone, but nothing too serious. Hwy miles increased from 15.3 to 16.6 and that's cruising at 80 or so. Hang ups? The brake clamp and getting stock bolt out to re-use. Everything else intalled with hand tools (minus the cut out with a sawz all for the stock muffler)

Tahoe 5.3 AFE Exhaust

Installed my AFE exhaust on my Tahoe and love it. No drone at highway speeds and sounds very nice at startup. My butt dyno feels a little increase in power as well. The installation was easy and took maybe an hour with just a wrench and WD-40 to get the exhaust hangars on/off.

2001 Tahoe - Love it!

Sounds great and super easy install. Took about 40 minutes from start to finish. A single pipe is all you really need with the 5.3, dual doesn't get you much more for your dollar. I also put a 3" cat back MBRP system on my 2007 Silverado and love it. You seem to get the most out of this system if you also Superchip your Chevy. To me, they go hand in hand but it's your buck.
