2014 dodge challenger RT 5.7 titanium ceramic coated headers

Reviewed By Matthew A (Glendale, AZ) Reviewed for a 2014 Dodge Challenger —3/12/2015 2:23 PM

I paid $375 to have them installed. It took 5 hours at the shop and they said it was a pain in the butt. Two weeks after the install I have an annoying ticking sound, obviously an exhaust leak from the left side. From the reviews I have read everyone loves the headers but says the gaskets they come with are garbage. My advise purchase an aftermarket set of gaskets and tighten bolts every 72hrs for the first month. Car sounds a little bit louder which I love and the rpm's wrap up much faster.

Gibson Ceramic Headers

Reviewed By Henry P. R (SPRINGFIELD, OH) Reviewed for a 2005 Dodge Dakota —2/18/2015 4:47 PM

I had a bad gasket leak on my drivers side exhaust manifold and was looking at about $400 to get it fixed and have the same old performance out of my 4.7L Magnum engine. This was a PERFECT time to upgrade and get these Gibson Ceramic Headers instead. Since installing them I have noticed a big difference off the line and also in acceleration! I had my truck on the dyno and gained just under 10HP... I'll be adding an open air intake system, an ECU controller and performance exhaust this Spring.

Why the black paint?

Reviewed By Marocs L (Lathrop, CA) Reviewed for a 2002 Dodge Neon —7/24/2013 9:14 PM

Overall the end performance results of these headers was satisfying and it also gives the neon a bit of a deeper grumble. Installing these headers required cutting and welding the extra piece of exhaust pipe to fit the headers. Now as for the looks... they look like they have a disease. The black paint on it is not high temp paint and started smoking for about 5min and it has mostly been flaking off leaving white residue all around.
