American Thunder on 2007 Dodge Charger Police Package

Reviewed By George B (PORTSMOUTH, NH) Reviewed for a 2007 Dodge Charger —7/22/2016 8:26 PM

I had Flowmaster Catalytic Converters, American Thunder Cat Back exhaust, and JBA Headers installed by my local Dodge Dealer. There is some drone on the highway...but it sounds so amazing it was definitely worth it. I looked at a lot of cat back systems and the Flowmaster seemed to be the best bang for the buck.

Just Right

Reviewed By Freeman B (CHICAGO, IL) Reviewed for a 2014 Dodge Charger —8/29/2015 1:11 AM

Just what I was looking for. Replaced the 40 I had. 44 is a lil deeper with a lot less idle drone. Now when I take off, I'm not triggering car alarms.

A Better Roar at Startup and WOT - No Drone

Reviewed By Matt D (CHICAGO, IL) Reviewed for a 2008 Dodge Charger —7/21/2014 8:19 PM

I wanted a better roar to my HEMI R/T, but no drone was a big thing for me. The Super 40 and 44 are much more aggressive, but everyone complained about drone. To me, it is not worth the headache on the highway. The 50 Series isn't that much louder than my stock suitcase during normal driving, but it roars louder at startup and is nice and loud at WOT. I have a K&N CAI and can tell you the CAI and mufflers are a perfect pair for those who can sacrifice a quieter muffler for no drone.
