Flowmaster Exhaust Systems Reviews

American Thunder and HEMI

Reviewed By Walter H (Glen Allen, VA) Reviewed for a 2015 Dodge Charger —8/22/2015 4:39 AM

This system is pretty simple - no resonators means the growl comes into the car a bit more, but that's exactly what I wanted as I tried Corsa and have heard the Force II and it was a bit mellow sounding for my taste. If you want a good rumble when you step on the gas but still be able to live in the car while every-day driving, it works great! 2015 Charger so stock appearance remains, which is what I wanted, but some may want the look of new tips....

A Better Roar at Startup and WOT - No Drone

Reviewed By Matt D (CHICAGO, IL) Reviewed for a 2008 Dodge Charger —7/21/2014 8:19 PM

I wanted a better roar to my HEMI R/T, but no drone was a big thing for me. The Super 40 and 44 are much more aggressive, but everyone complained about drone. To me, it is not worth the headache on the highway. The 50 Series isn't that much louder than my stock suitcase during normal driving, but it roars louder at startup and is nice and loud at WOT. I have a K&N CAI and can tell you the CAI and mufflers are a perfect pair for those who can sacrifice a quieter muffler for no drone.
