2005 Dodge Dakota V8

Wanted some improved power while towing my 24' travel trailer and this exhaust system was just what I needed!! Installed in no time, hardest part was removing the stock exhaust. Truck runs super at the lower RPM band and gas mileage seems to have improved somewhat, I'll know more about that aspect in time as I have only made one trip with the trailer since it was installed!! Gibson, Thanks for a great product!

purchased for Dakota pickup. Was hoping to inprove gas mileage between the exhaust and K&N air intake. Mileage seems to be constant at 14 mpg no matter what. However the apperance, sound and ease of installation (3 hrs) makes this exhaust a super buy.

2005 Dodge Dakota 4.7L V8

Product looked awesome as expected. I intended to install it myself but sent it to a local muffler shop which luckily was a good decision. Purchased for a '05 Dodge Dakota crew cab short bed (5'6") configuration but was not sure if the part would fit so I called Magnaflow directly. The technician assured me it would but was WRONG! The muffler shop had to fabricate a 6" extension in order for it to fit my truck. Also, the shop had to bend one of the tubes to align the hanger. The cost was 2 hours and over $212 due to the extra work. I have the same issue as another reviewer had. The exhaust is 2" off the center mark. As pointed out there is not much of an adjustment. Power is instantly noticed. Noise level is considerable under slow acceleration and drone is as expected but tends to subside once at freeway speed. Rumble is deep and turns heads. Love the product overall. Next step is a Jet Module.
