"This is a great exhaust system. It really does everything they say it will do. I installed it on my 08 dodge ram all by myself in the drive way in around 3 hours total. The hard part was taking off my old exhaust system. I had already had a shop make me an exhaust system and later I went back and installed a flowmaster muffler. The problem with that system is it wasn't mandrell bent and it was aluminized pipe. Just 3 years later my Chrome tip falls off and a lot of the bends were rusted through. So this time I spent a little extra and bought the stainless system, and am very happy with it. It is also backed by a life time warranty. You can't beat it for the quality and the price. Oh ya and that sweet sweet sound! Mpg boost is nice too." —Jacob P from Burlington, IA bought a Flowmaster Exhaust Systems for a 2008 Dodge Ram, 1500, Quad cab, 5.7L Hemi.
"sounds sweeet let me tell you, not to loud at all in the cab but it makes a nice deep rumble" —Sandy S from Dickinson, ND bought a MBRP Exhaust Systems for a 2008 Dodge Ram, 1500, Quad cab, short bed, 5.7L Hemi.
"Exhaust is a great value. Gives a nice rumble. There is some noise in the cab, but I like it. Not as aggressive sounding as I had hoped, but I'm sure after I get a tuner and my CAI I'll be very happy. Overall a nice exhaust!" —Daniel S from El Mirage, AZ bought a Flowmaster Exhaust Systems for a 2008 Dodge Ram.
"Nice look, great sound when putting your foot in it, nice rumble as your just driving, and an ok sound when MDS kicks in. Would recommend this kit to anyone, especially with MDS, sounds much better than Flowmaster, had that kit too." —Peter M from Pittsgrove, NJ bought a Magnaflow Exhaust Systems for a 2008 Dodge Ram.
"I just put the exhaust on my 2008 ram 1500 and it sounds great... It took me an hour and a half to take the stock exhaust off and put the new one on.. I did need an air wrench to take the stock muffler off.. I have a k&n intake and together this truck sounds like it was built to race..." —Daryl H from Portland, OR bought a Gibson Exhaust Systems for a 2008 Dodge Ram, 1500, Quad cab, 6' 3" short bed, 5.7L Hemi.
"installed on a 2008 dodge ram, nice sound, little louder than expected when you jump on the gas, looks great and comes with chrome tips, a must have, gives the dodge ram a rumble sound. AutoAnything.....great company, good products, great prices
thanks AutoAnything" —Shane A from Palmerton, PA bought a Gibson Exhaust Systems for a 2008 Dodge Ram, 1500, Quad cab, 6' 3" short bed, 5.7L Hemi.
"Very impressed with quality and ease of install. Did require some modification due to add on accesories.
I do beleive that gibson should update their catalog, for I, working for a dodge dealer and knowing that all 4.7 5.7 ram 1500 series have the same exhuast system 2006-2008.
No problem at all to install. thanks love the sound.
Aaron, Seattle wa." —Glenn M from Seattle, WA bought a Gibson Exhaust Systems for a 2008 Dodge Ram, 1500, Quad cab, 6' 3" short bed, 4.7L V8.
"I have a 2008 dodge ram 1500 with a 5.7 hemi. The exhaust sounds awesome, was very easy to install. I have the extreme that exits behind the tires, the only problem was the left side rear hanger seems a little crappy, not too big a deal, the pipe just hangs a little close to the spare tire. It may take you a little to get the pipes to look even. I have a k & n 77 series cold air intake and i was getting around 15.1 for mileage with stock exhaust, now with the exhaust and cold air I get like 14.9. Not too much of a difference. I havent taken it on any long highway trips. Probally would have went with the rear exits though." —Mark H from Hope Mills, NC bought a Gibson Exhaust Systems for a 2008 Dodge Ram, 1500, Quad cab, 6' 3" short bed, 5.7L Hemi.
"Installation wasn't that hard, looks and sounds good. Had to go to a muffler shop to have pipes bent slightly to go straight out the back. Overall, not bad." —Jesse K from Wichita, KS bought a Gibson Exhaust Systems for a 2008 Dodge Ram, 1500, Quad cab, 6' 3" short bed, 5.7L Hemi.
"If you have a HEMI it's a must!! I paired it with a k&n series 77 intake and also a superchip
Flash programmer and what a difference. Truck now sounds rediculously good when you put it to the floor. This exhaust was extremely easy to install once the stock exhaust was off! I would definatley reccomend this exhaust to anyone but make sure you atleast pair it with an intake or it won't be loud!!!" —Joseph A from Egg Harbor Township, NJ bought a Banks Monster Exhaust System for a 2008 Dodge Ram, 1500, Quad cab, short bed, 5.7L Hemi.
"I thought a little pricey but Autoanything always treats me right. System was a breez to install. Took right at an hour with no special tools. Couple wrenches and sockets. I love the tone and really wakes up my Ram. Hard to say if I have any HP gains but the appearance and sound make up for it." —Kevin M from California City, CA bought a Gibson Exhaust Systems for a 2008 Dodge Ram, 1500, Quad cab, 6' 3" short bed, 4.7L V8.
