Second pair of Kooks axle-backs I have owned. Fit and finish are the best. Deep throaty sound at idle and no drone at any speed. Sound scale in my opinion: Factory Mustang GT a 1, GT 500 a 3, MBRP Pro Series a 5, Kooks a 7, and Roush a 10.

My '07 Sport Trac (4.6L) was to quiet; I wanted it to sound like a V8 rather than the same as a 6 cyl. or a 4-banger. I installed the Gibson exhaust, which went well. It was "tight" aft of the rear axle (3" pipes going through the space allocated for 2.5" exhaust) but worked okay. Once I fired it up, however, it was an obnoxious roar. If that's what you want, the Gibson is exactly what you're looking for. I subsequently replaced the muffler with a "quiet-flow" unit, and it's perfect now.
