No cutting required, un clamp and put the new one in place fit loosely, then go back and tighten. Awesome mellow sound, no drone.

Getting this on was a snap, the problem was getting the old system OFF! Me and my buddy had to yank at the OEM muffler for quite some time but I suppose thats just my car. The sound is pretty decent, although the real deal is in the higher RPM's (like 4000-6500) when it really starts to roar. I absolutely love going through tunnels in 2nd gear with the windows down just to hear that AMAZING noise. Only real complaint is that as the pipe is a good 1/2 inch or so bigger than the stock system that (at least the way we got it in) it is a little close to the frame at one point so it knocks against it a bit. No real harm done just kinda annoying..
