"installing the headers was pretty easy, the egr tube was not! there should be an adapter that comes with the headers for the egr tube.to connect the egr tube to the headers are 2 female fittings, there needs to be a double male type fitting to connect the 2!it seems to be a design flaw, pace setter wasn't the only headers like that!summit racing couldnt even find the fitting for me!" —Billy C from Kent, OH bought a PaceSetter Shorty Headers for a 1998 Ford F-150, 4.6L V8.
"The headers are made very well. Installation was very easy, but that's because I had the engine out on my truck anyway. I'm sure it would have been a little more difficult with the engine in.
The fit is perfect. The only thing that was a hair off was the egr tube fitting. It was off by about 3/4 of an inch, so I had to bend the pipe to fit up at the throttle-body.
They do add a little more of a throaty sound to the exhaust.
Good job JBA !" —Pete T from Jacksonville, FL bought a JBA Cat4ward Headers for a 1998 Ford F-150, 4.6L V8.
"I've yet to see a dramatic difference with the JBA headers, but feel that the service from auto anything was excellent. they kept me posted and had excellent customer service, the install on the headers was easy after getting the previous exhaust manifolds off" —Thomas C from Johnson, VT bought a JBA Cat4ward Headers for a 1998 Ford F-150.
