I recently installed the pipe and have driven it a few weeks now and I think it is a bit noisier than I'd like it too be. I think the pipe thickness for a V-8 is on the thinner side. I did attach a straight "bomb" type muffler and this could be the reason for the extra sound but I had it on before the switch and it seems it was quieter before. I still need to hook up the tail pipe and I'm hoping it helps to reduce the sound a bit more. I have also noticed that I'm holding the key a bit longer when starting the engine. I think this is due to the reduced size of the converters on this pipe. Restricting the gas (exhaust) flow. It should also be noted that this pipe was a two piece kit so the transmission support did not have to be removed for installation. I didn't even put my stock 4x4 up on ramps. It just slid right in. Nice!
