Super Duty Exhaust Tip

This piece of equipment was just as advertised. Perfect fit and an excellent finish. Being that my super duty XLT is black, every bit of highly polished chrome enhances it's appearance. With chrome bumpers, grille, wheels and step bar, it adds a nice touch.

Monster Exhaust on a 2008 F250 V10

Love everything about this setup except that it should have been a Cat back system. Another 3 feet of pipe and a flange would do the trick. Other than that, the quality, fit and sound are excellent. I haven't had enough time with in on the truck to know if it produced the claims made for this system but I am more than happy with my purchase.

New emmission controls for diesels kill everything.

Reviewed By Edward S (Haddon Township, NJ) Reviewed for a 2008 Ford F-250 —11/19/2008 3:25 PM

After receiving the exhaust I noticed that the part of the exhaust that goes over the rear axel was bent in where the muffler delete conects into, which I know was from done during delivery. I also had thought from the picture on the website that the exhaust came with another muffler to replace the one I was taking off but it didnt. The install was very simple, it took me about an hour and a half by myself in my driveway. The exhaust looks great but with the new emission controls for the new diesels the dpf completely kills the sound. Anyone looking for that sound found on the earlier year powerstrokes will have to get a dpf delete pipe as well as the sct livewire programmer which total costs over a grand. Overall the exhaust looks mean, but it pretty much acts as a glorified muffler.
