BBK Exhaust Crossover Pipes Reviews

Race Car Sound!

Reviewed By Laura C (Lakeview, NY) Reviewed for a 2014 Ford Mustang —5/26/2016 9:48 AM

I just installed on my 2014 V6. Before the install, I run a Typhoon K&N CAI, BBK Throttle Body, and the Rousch Exhaust. I do some SCCA Solo Autocross on the weekends, so I wanted a little more OOMPH. Well, after the install, i started up my baby up and WOW! Talk about raw and healthy sound! It is LOUD and I love it! I actually had someone ask me what type of engine i am running. 1st-3rd gear's are just insane. Very aggressive sounding. You will turn heads! THANKS AA and BBK!

Magnaflow Tru-X Pipes Reviews

Magnaflows good pulses!

Reviewed By BRUCE B (Farmington, AR) Reviewed for a 2014 Ford Mustang —3/4/2014 7:07 AM

When the 2 banks of exhaust meet in the middle, the velocity extracts the flow creating more TQ at WOT. Along comes a higher pitched tone, but with MagnaPacks that sound turns into sheer adrenalin! Anyone that tells you a X Pipe makes no power, is seriously mistaken! It lessens the resistance of Exhaust flow from the Exhaust Valves when dumping the pulses of gas into the Manifold. Gotta love Magnaflow! DYNO proven baby!

Why a "Y" pipe

Reviewed By Robert C (Madison, FL) Reviewed for a 1990 Ford Mustang —3/4/2011 9:20 AM

To me this was the best way to go from one pipe down the center of my vehicle to two pipes and two mufflers out the back. The way that the Y-pipe was manufactured was GREAT. There was no massaging of any kind needed to get it to match up with the rest of the exhaust system. The welding of the Y-pipe itself was first rate, whoever did the manufacturing of the Y-pipe still has PRIDE in the work that they do, BRAVO! The price of the part was definitely good, there was no way that I could have gone out and made it myself for less $$$.
