Ford Thunderbird Borla Exhaust, Mufflers & Tips

System well engineered and perfectly tuned sound for my 2002 TBird. Excelent !! Only one issue at this time. The exhaust tips extend to far out and takeaway from the contour design of my bird. They will have to be modified. Even though we are looking at only 3". I plan to cut and replace with 2 sterling 5.5" ss allen set tips to ensure the length meets the look required. If OK, most likely will forgo welding the Borla tips back. I did like the show of the Borla stamp on them.

The reason I ordered this item (2) was to dress up the appearance of my classic Thunderbird. I received excellent advice from an online chat with Auto Anything. Not only does it enhance the look of my car, but it sounds so much better as well! A superior product.

Within 5 minutes of opening the box with the Borla tip, it was installed and ready to hit the road! It slipped into the exhaust just like it was engineered, clamped, grubby fingerprints cleaned and Voila!! The stainless steel is highly polished and looks like chrome and should last longer than the exhaust system.
