Magnaflow Exhaust Systems Reviews

Magnaflo installation

Went very well once you get old system off, I had to cut it out. The only thing is you buy a really nice exhaust system & you have to use your old bolts to attach. Which for me snapped off when I took the old one off so I had to go out anyway & get new bolts. Very pleased w/ it, performance is better but I still have OE manifold & cats so I'll really see wut happens w/ my new OTTP header and only one high flow cat.

This y pipe replaces the crimped end to your stock y pipe. Unless you can weld and bend pipe, you need to go to an exhaust shop. I had them replace the pipe under the transmission while they were at it. That pipe has a flat spot that runs along it. My shop charged $100 for everything, well worth it too. Improved throttle response slightly and fuel economy.

2015 Chevy Colorado 3.6

Stock exhaust was so quiet you had to check the tach to see if it was running. I called Magnaflow and asked if the exhaust system my dealer mentioned was quiet, the answer was "YES." It has the largest muffler we have. When it was installed it was NOT quiet. The only option was to add a resonator. The replacement system was a direct fit no alteration install. The resonator was a custom install that had to be welded in!! Fortunately with the resonator it is quiet but noticeable.
