"The system came quickly and it was easy enough to install. I didn't have to cut the old system off as per directions. I think that due to the fact I had the truck up on 1ft. high ramps. I do have a suggestion for the manufacture of the exhaust system. Either extend the pipes from the muffler at least 1" on each end or make the exhaust pipes connecting to the muffler at least 1" longer so that the hanger at the rear tail pipe will line up with the stock hanger. This will omit the need for the rear clamp with the hanger pin welded to it. A cleaner looking job will result. This is not a problem if the system is welded at a muffler shop (Which I had done) because they were able to slide the pipe back far enough to line it up with the hanger and weld the pipes together, omitting the clamps. It looks factory and neat. Nice throaty sound but not too loud. Don't know if MPG increased yet because I haven't filled up since installation. Overall satisified and good value for the system." —Dennis T from Olympia, WA bought a JBA Performance Exhaust for a 2002 GMC Sierra, Extended cab, short bed, 5.3L V8.
"The install went very smooth for a set of long tube headers. I just had to fight my previous custom cat-back to fit length wise. (the cat-back system is pushed back 1-2 inches) The increase in mid-range torque and throttle response is noticable; even pulling harder in the high rpm range. After the system went through a heat cycle it has a very nice golden tint. The only down side was that I had to cut/splice my o2 sensor wires to lengthen them. The one supplied in the kit from dynatech was incorrect and the directions showed two possible connectors and how to modify, but the connector on my vehicle was neither of these. One of the passenger primary tubes is very close to the frame if not touching it at times under vibration and rotaional torque. But, overall I am very satisfied with the results!" —William G from Phoenix, AZ bought a Dynatech SuperMAXX Complete Header Exhaust Systems for a 2002 GMC Sierra.
"My husband for very pleased with the ease of installation and with the looks and sound of the exhaust system. I think he is going into his second childhood. The things he didn't have then he is having now that he is in his 60's. Thanks so much." —Ivan S from Owls Head, ME bought a Flowmaster Exhaust Systems for a 2002 GMC Sierra, 1500, light-duty, extended cab, 6' 6" short bed, 5.3L V8.
"Had mine installed at muffler shop, because I wanted it welded.Had to move Exhaust pipe hanger so pipe would't
rub on shock." —Richard V from Springdale, AR bought a Magnaflow Exhaust Systems for a 2002 GMC Sierra, 1500HD, extended cab, 6' 6" short bed, 6.0L V8.

"The Banks exhaust is simply the best that money can buy. I've had several exhaust systems in my day including Flowmaster, Gibson, Magnaflow, Borla and Pypes. This is truly the finest set of pipes I have ever used. The sound is like no other exhaust you will hear on the road and the performance gains are second to none. I highly recommend. Autoanything.com is the absolute best retailer out there. I use them for all of my purchases. Thanks" —Brynn C from Bella Vista, AR bought a Banks Monster Exhaust System for a 2002 GMC Sierra.
"The chrome tips look amazing coming out in front of my rear wheel! The deep tone sound is awesome. Its is way better than i expected!" —Miguel M from Decatur, TX bought a Flowmaster Exhaust Systems for a 2002 GMC Sierra, 1500, light duty, extended cab, 6' 6" short bed, 4.8L V8.
"Outstanding exhaust. Took longer to take off old exhaust than to install the Gibson! The fit was great, and Gibson's claims of improved torque are right on the money! I never would have believed that a cat-back could give a significant improvement in performance, but this one did. The sound is great, a nice bark but no resonance (just a nice rumble). If you want a wide-open roar from your exhaust, look elsewhere, but if you want a high-quality exhaust with a nice performance tone and better performance, get the Gibson!" —Sean G from Lake Stevens, WA bought a Gibson Exhaust Systems for a 2002 GMC Sierra.
"love it!! the hardest part of the installation is getting the old exhaust off" —Cody T from Ellenburg Depot , NY bought a Banks Monster Exhaust System for a 2002 GMC Sierra, 1500, extended cab, 6' 6" short bed, 5.3L V8.
