This converter was a drop-in installation. Once I acquired a deep socket and a socket wrench entension, the installation was a breeze. Total installation time was less than 1 hour for this disabled shade tree mechanic. The hardest part was the removal of the O2 sensor. After driving for almost 2 weeks, I have seen a marked improvement in mileage. Granted I purchased this car used, the EPA highway estimate was 26 mpg, but on a recent trip, I ran over 32 mpg consistently! For a 10 year old car, I will NOT sneeze at this economy!
