1999 GMC Sonoma Highrider ZR2 Ext. Cab Shortbox 4x4

Reviewed By Ryan H (Metamora, MI) Reviewed for a 1999 GMC Sonoma —12/11/2009 10:06 AM

I am very satisfied with my Gibson exhaust system. It came with detailed instructions and installed fairly easily in about one hour. The exhaust sounds deep and throaty without being overly loud. I also noticed a little extra power in the two thousand to three thousand rpm range. Ryan

Turbo V6

Reviewed By EDWARD R (LONGVIEW, TX) Reviewed for a 2003 GMC Sonoma —12/2/2013 5:16 AM

I have a turboed V6 GMC Sonoma. If you ever had a performance V6, you know the noise that they can make compaired to a V8. My first Magnaflow was single in-dual out, was too loud for my taste. Because I wanted the dual exhaust look, I added a single in-single out Magnaflow in series. I got the sound that I wanted and retained my performance.

BUY MAGNAFLOW-YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED

Reviewed By Thomas R. F (MC Carr, KY) Reviewed for a 1998 GMC Sonoma —9/1/2009 5:00 AM

The old converter was loose inside and making a terrible sound. Magnaflow advertised that it was a direct replacement; no modifications. WELL IT IS! EXACT FIT! I ALSO INSTALLED A GIBSON EXHAUST: CAT BACK. I noticed that my engine runs slightly cooler, and at acceleration I can feel a difference(not neck snapping but it seems to run better). I was impressed with the quality and the workmanship, it is excellent. Time will really tell, but by the appearance of the converter it looks like it will out last the truck. A couple years back I had the converter replaced at a muffler shop and it hasn't lasted that long: the price was well over $150. LISTEN, IF YOU NEED A CAT BY ALL MEANS BUY THIS ONE, HONESTLY!
