BUY MAGNAFLOW-YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED

Reviewed By Thomas R. F (MC Carr, KY) Reviewed for a 1998 GMC Sonoma —9/1/2009 5:00 AM

The old converter was loose inside and making a terrible sound. Magnaflow advertised that it was a direct replacement; no modifications. WELL IT IS! EXACT FIT! I ALSO INSTALLED A GIBSON EXHAUST: CAT BACK. I noticed that my engine runs slightly cooler, and at acceleration I can feel a difference(not neck snapping but it seems to run better). I was impressed with the quality and the workmanship, it is excellent. Time will really tell, but by the appearance of the converter it looks like it will out last the truck. A couple years back I had the converter replaced at a muffler shop and it hasn't lasted that long: the price was well over $150. LISTEN, IF YOU NEED A CAT BY ALL MEANS BUY THIS ONE, HONESTLY!

Not too loud

Reviewed By Jesse J (Yorktown, VA) Reviewed for a 2003 Volkswagen Passat —7/5/2016 3:40 AM

Installed this on my 2003 Volkswagen Passat with no resonator and it's a little louder than my stock muffler. Sometimes I can hear a nice growl. If you want a little aggressive sound but not too much than this is a good muffler.
