Magnaflow Performance Mufflers Reviews

Turbo V6

Reviewed By EDWARD R (LONGVIEW, TX) Reviewed for a 2003 GMC Sonoma —12/2/2013 5:16 AM

I have a turboed V6 GMC Sonoma. If you ever had a performance V6, you know the noise that they can make compaired to a V8. My first Magnaflow was single in-dual out, was too loud for my taste. Because I wanted the dual exhaust look, I added a single in-single out Magnaflow in series. I got the sound that I wanted and retained my performance.

super 44 series

Reviewed By Abel M (Santa Ana, CA) Reviewed for a 1993 GMC Sonoma —11/4/2008 10:21 PM

I drive a 93 GMC sonoma with a small 2.8 six cilinder engine in it. A tiny engine indeed but equiped with 44's i promis you its louder than the average V8. WHen i hop on the feeway i dont step on the gass as much as i use to in order to reach 65 /70 mph so a slight increas in power wass also noticed. THe only down side of this muffler is that you wont be able to sneek your girlfriend out of her house late at night anymore. Evey single car alarm goes off in small neighborhoods. In conclusion, loud interior and loud outside.

sounds more like what i thought the super 40's should have been!

Reviewed By paul o (LAS VEGAS, NV) Reviewed for a 2012 Chevy Impala —1/21/2015 1:45 AM

I bought the s40's thinking that it was near the lowest #= deepest sound as higher the model number the quieter it is, however 40 then 44 the 10 in order. I took off the resonator on my 2012 chevy impala and it sounds like a v8, with Injenr X-1017-BB - EA Nanofiber Dry Air Filter /or K&N (oil based cotton,, this thing growls an flow mor air. I do get a power kick out of it and not to obnoxious unless im "getting on it"! super40 with resonator sounded almost like stock, for me this is Grrreat!
