Borla CatBack Exhaust

Reviewed By Dan K (Alpharetta, GA) Reviewed for a 2007 Infiniti G35 —3/28/2016 6:57 AM

Installed Borla Catback on 2016 GTI, very pleased with the appearance, and sound. The install was straight forward and fits perfectly, filling out the exhaust cutout in the rear valance completely. The sound at start-up is very nice and deep and clearly shows it is not a factory exhaust. Once warmed up it is extremely quite in the cabin unless you are under hard acceleration when you hear a very nice deep tone. Outside the car you hear a great tone that doesn't intrude the cabin. Great System.

Installation

Reviewed By Barry H (Trafford, PA) Reviewed for a 2010 Infiniti G37 —11/19/2011 8:25 PM

The in installation wasn't as easy as it sounds .At least for a 65 year old with Jack stands . The three hangers for the muffler was a bear and I needed to bend the one to get it into the hanger . Use plenty of lube on the hangers . All in all it looks good and sounds a bit louder than I thought it would ,but love to get in it sounds great then . Didn't know what to do with the original vibration dampers behind cats on X-Pipe , but put them on with clamps and seem to work OK . The tips look great . Thanks

Not a "bolt on", but nice setup.

Reviewed By Everly B (flagstaff, AZ) Reviewed for a 2016 Dodge Durango —9/10/2016 11:13 PM

First off, instructions say "bolt on", this does not "bolt on". You will need a hacksaw and some automotive knowledge. It's easy, but that needs to be known. This exhaust sounds great without being obnoxious. I was eyeing some cat back systems but have read a lot about people having drone issues due to the MDS so I opted for keeping the stock "briefcase" under the truck. Installed in about an hour or so. Measure twice, cut once. All in all I really like this setup.
