Does the job

Reviewed By Thomas L (BEAVERTON, OR) Reviewed for a 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee —5/31/2016 6:13 PM

Not as sturdy (or heavy) as the OEM, and much thinner pipe walls. But it does the job nicely. Of course, I can't say yet if it will last as well, but then again I don't need it to. The OEM lasted 14 years and 226K miles with occasional off-road abuse. So if this one lasts 6 years and 100K miles it's probably enough to live out the car, and I'll be satisfied with that.

BOB' s Got a Brand New Bag

Reviewed By Elana T (Chicago, IL) Reviewed for a 2012 Jeep Wrangler —5/27/2016 7:34 AM

I purchased the Gibson 617301 side-swept cat-back exhaust in stainless steel, and had it installed last week. All I can say is WOW!! What a difference in the sound and performance of this Big Orange Box. In addition to that extra kick it gets now when combined with the Blackhawk cold-air intake I had installed previously, it sounds like a fairly bad mofo. At slow speeds and during idling, it sounds awesome. When I do hit it, it goes - they just never see that coming. Not bad for a rookie :)

Great sound, not too loud

Reviewed By William A N (Keaau, HI) Reviewed for a 2004 Jeep Wrangler —5/20/2016 1:41 PM

Not sure about mileage, but power and sound is better. As others stated, will not work with tow hitch. Mechanic custom made turn down tip and welded.
