Borla Exhaust Performance Headers Reviews

experience helpful

Reviewed By Ed G (Middlesex, NJ) Reviewed for a 2001 Jeep Wrangler —2/19/2014 9:13 AM

A lift would make this job much easier. Torquing bottom inside header bolts really tight area. The headers themselves are a works of art. Jeep already had Borla cat-back, K&N cold air, ported throttle body. Power range has considerably increased. That it sound much more throaty just added bonus. Haven't measured MPG due to not being only driver and does mainly local duties these days.

Worst customer service

Reviewed By Trent R (Stockton, CA) —9/26/2014 3:57 AM

The reason I bought these and the only reason I bought these is because they are California exempt the sticker supplied with the supplied with the header is just a plain white piece of paper it's not going to withstand the test of time it's gonna rub off I'm not gonna be able to get smog all other manufacturers use something like a metal sticker so I call FlowMaster advise them of my concern asked for a replacement for her like a stick inside the glove compartment of my car and they refused to give it to me so far one guy wanted for her to tell me just going to write it down on a piece of paper I double checked

1999 Jeep Cherokee exhaust upgrade

Reviewed By KEITH L (GRAND LEDGE, MI) Reviewed for a 2005 Ford Explorer —10/12/2013 4:44 AM

After 265,000 miles the original manifold cracked and was causing hesitation at initial take off and o2 sensor errors. These headers and the free flow catalytic converter solved both issues. I plan on purchasing an aFe cold air intake kit to complete the upgrade.
