Does the job

Reviewed By Thomas L (BEAVERTON, OR) Reviewed for a 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee —5/31/2016 6:13 PM

Not as sturdy (or heavy) as the OEM, and much thinner pipe walls. But it does the job nicely. Of course, I can't say yet if it will last as well, but then again I don't need it to. The OEM lasted 14 years and 226K miles with occasional off-road abuse. So if this one lasts 6 years and 100K miles it's probably enough to live out the car, and I'll be satisfied with that.

Grand Cherokee 4.0 Convertor works great

Reviewed By Joshua W (Lees Summit, MO) Reviewed for a 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee —12/9/2010 5:19 AM

Magnaflow is a well trusted name in the exhaust world. I had used their products in the past and decided to use one of their direct fit catalytic convertors on my 98 Jeep. Fit is excellent and it sounds and runs better. The factory one was stuck pretty good, but a sawzall with a hacksaw blade sped up the removal process. Overall I would strongly urge anyone needing a cat to look at these. They fit great and are quality pieces. You should pick up a bit of performance also due to the high flow design.

My repair shop could only find an OEM catalytic converter for $1200. The car isn't worth that much!. Yours at around $200 worked out very well#
