2000 Jeep Cherokee Classic w/ Flowmaster Force II exhaust system

Reviewed By Oliver M (Davenport, IA) Reviewed for a 2000 Jeep Cherokee —11/30/2012 9:49 PM

The stock exhaust on my Jeep finally gave up and broke just after the cat, very loud!! New Flowmaster system has great rumble w/o drone or being too loud. Same basic specs as Magnaflow and cheaper along w/ rebate = Score Just a heads up for anyone with a Jeep Cherokee and OEM exhaust system: The stock exhaust system flange is crimped at the cat, so unless you have access to a torch to heat it up and work it loose, I would suggest paying a little more for a shop to do the work.

Clean Looking Pipe

Reviewed By Dario B (Herndon, VA) Reviewed for a 2000 Jeep Cherokee —4/3/2009 8:51 PM

I needed a replacement exhaust for my Jeep since the factory one was shot, so I purchased this one for 265 shipped. For the money, I could'nt be happier. It's a pretty clean looking install (and easy), sounds really nice at idle with a deep gurgle, and under accelleration, and doesn't resonate in the cabin while cruising. Someone in an earlier review mentioned how the sound changed a few days after the install, and I have to agree. After about three days of daily driving the growling, rumbling sound has gotten a bit deeper. All in all a solid looking/performing exhaust that's fairly easy to get installed. The only issues I had when installing was getting old one off, adjusting the hanger to properly fit, and after fitting, I had to trim about 3 inches off the end of the pipe exiting out the rear; it was just too long and after the chrome tip was put on, it just looked awkward. I have also noted a slight increase in MPG, but not sure if this is also due to the fact that when I did the exhaust I also replaced rear leaf springs, all 4 shocks and 4 new tires... Overall, though, nice looking pipe.

So far so good

Reviewed By mark m (CUYAHOGA FALLS, OH) Reviewed for a 1996 Jeep Cherokee —11/20/2015 8:07 PM

Had exhaust shop install with new stainless converter and flex pipe sounds good I'll have to wait and see how long and how durable it is. Noticeable gains on 4.6 stroker build.
