A little hard to install

Reviewed By Jose C (Dixon, CA) Reviewed for a 1998 Mitsubishi Eclipse —4/12/2012 9:39 PM

Okay so let me start by saying that this headers is a little hard to install only when it comes to bolting up the two pieces of the header together. Had a little trouble lining them up. So, after installing I went for a test run and right away noticed a difference from my previous header (ebay 4-1 header) in sound. This header sounds very mean!!! Another thing I noticed was this 4-2-1 header gives me more milage per gallon than my previous header. I also noticed power in the mid-range rather than on the top-end.

Now I am good for many more miles to come

Reviewed By don m (clarkridge, AR) Reviewed for a 2005 Ford Econoline —6/6/2015 10:30 PM

I have a vehicle with near 200,000 and still in most excellent condition. I maintain it and that helps. Anyway I replaced the whole of the exhaust system and plan on keeping the vehicle. If it needs a new engine or any other part,in the future, I will replace it so this purchase is a investment with me. The quality of this product is 5 Star with me.

needs to fit better

Reviewed By scott c (PINE CITY, MN) Reviewed for a 2008 Ford Escape —5/26/2015 6:25 AM

I had to modify the bottom mount to allow the cat to fit AND I had to cut the inlet to the flex and reweld. The outlet had a tilt to it and would not fit without modification. The normal consumer would have been up a creek without a paddle. Your R&D needs to do some homework. Thanks
