A little hard to install

Reviewed By Jose C (Dixon, CA) Reviewed for a 1998 Mitsubishi Eclipse —4/12/2012 9:39 PM

Okay so let me start by saying that this headers is a little hard to install only when it comes to bolting up the two pieces of the header together. Had a little trouble lining them up. So, after installing I went for a test run and right away noticed a difference from my previous header (ebay 4-1 header) in sound. This header sounds very mean!!! Another thing I noticed was this 4-2-1 header gives me more milage per gallon than my previous header. I also noticed power in the mid-range rather than on the top-end.

Perfect Fit

Reviewed By Jeffrey S (THORNTON, CO) Reviewed for a 2009 Nissan Titan —8/18/2016 8:07 AM

Fit perfectly on my 09 Titan. No more clicking noise. They aren't as pretty as the photo, but they get the job done at a third the part cost of what Nissan wanted.

Some Caveats

Reviewed By Jeffrey H (Ottumwa, IA) Reviewed for a 1981 Toyota Celica —8/17/2016 7:46 PM

Overall, this header is a good value and shipment was prompt. However, There are a few caveats: #1. Needed to modify [cut] the heat riser "clamshell" to accommodate the pipes and remove tranny bracket; #2. No O2 sensor flange [as shown -in worst possible location- in reversed pic]; #3. The biggest -and completely baffling- caveat is that the "smog pump" port mounts were tapped for 5/16 SAE bolts rather than 8mm!
