nice exhaust

The install was easy with a little ajusting of the hangers. I was surprised that it didn;t come with new gaskets.I used the old ones and no leaks. The power was noticed right away but i haven't had it long enough to see about the mpg yet. I made a good move on choosing this exhaust. The sound is just right and not to loud if you go easy on it.

2012 Nissan Xterra and the aFe Exhaust.

As I have a lift available the installation went pretty easy, getting the stock system off took the most time,I had purchased from the Nissan dealer new gaskets as none came with the Exhaust kit and are superior (metal) to the after market gaskets I saw.The new system is straight forwards had help installing the 2 to 1 muffler on and then with a piece of 2X4 and a short sledge drove the Muffler on leaving room for the exhaust pipe which was a tight fit, be sure all hangers are engaged.

Noticeable difference

Don't expect a true cat back. You'll still be stuck with the tiny factory y-pipe. All you get is a muffler and tail pipe. That being said, my Xterra sounds great and I can feel the improved hp when I stomp on it. Combined with my K&N intake, it's a great pair!
