Gibson Sport Exhaust Tip Reviews

It is bigger then you think

I used it to tip off my side exit exhaust. It has a very nice finish on the chrome outside, super easy install but the inside is not chrome, looks bad and its just plain metal that reflects light so I had to paint it black to "hind" the 2 1/5 inch pipe cause it looks dumb to that big of an outlet. I just dont under stand how a tip is more expansive then my muffler...

Gibson Metal Mulisha Exhaust Tips Reviews

Awesome!!!

Reviewed By JACK B (Clear, AK) Reviewed for a 2013 Toyota Tundra —11/3/2014 9:00 AM

Had the Flowmaster catback exhaust with the Flowmaster tips on my 2013 Tundra but wasn't too impressed with the deep, throaty sound that Flowmaster has. So I purchased two of these Metal Mulisha tips to open up the exhaust more. Just unwrapping them was awesome. Great quality and look really aggressive. Compared to the Flowmaster tips these are double the size and much better quality. The combination of the 40 series and these tips make that aggressive sound I was wanting. Very happy!!!

Looks & Fits great...

Reviewed By Karl F (Meridian, ID) Reviewed for a 2007 Ford Explorer —3/30/2014 10:04 AM

I installed the Gibson tip on my 2007 Sport Trac. The size I purchased was the 2.5" inlet/3" outlet, 8" long. The tip looks to be well constructed and once I cleaned up the exhaust pipe with some steel wool and then sprayed a little WD40 into the end of the tip I pushed it into place. It is a tight fit, so I used a rubber mallet to gently tap it into place, tightened the bolt and off I went. I'm sure with a little cleaning now and then this tip should look good for some time.
