Super quiet at low rpms starts to resonate towards 2.5~3k.

Aluminized is a little harder to weld. wish I would have gone with the straight steel but overall good sound with the 5.4l v8. Not as loud and I hoped it would be but it does have a nice deep rich tone.

I bought the s40's thinking that it was near the lowest #= deepest sound as higher the model number the quieter it is, however 40 then 44 the 10 in order. I took off the resonator on my 2012 chevy impala and it sounds like a v8, with Injenr X-1017-BB - EA Nanofiber Dry Air Filter /or K&N (oil based cotton,, this thing growls an flow mor air. I do get a power kick out of it and not to obnoxious unless im "getting on it"! super40 with resonator sounded almost like stock,for me this is Grrreat!
