It took about an hour to remove the OEM muffler and install Borla. Very easy to do since the bolts were not that rusty. After installation, I realise that there is more room in the muffler slot. Borla's SS muffler is much smaller than OEM one. The extra elbow room actually helped me when I replaced the OEM 16mm rear sway bar with a STI 19mm one a week later. The exhaust notes from the Borla are louder but not too loud that would wake up the neighbors. Ilike that. I will definitely recommend it.

replaced the clogged cat on my 88 gmc s15 lowrider and went ahead and got the magnaflow muffler. noticable improvement over stock exhaust. sounds like a v6. not loud like a fartcanned civic, but by no means a v8. my second direct-fit cat from magnaflow (2 seperate trucks) and would suggest and buy again.
