Great sound

Reviewed By Shauna S (WILSONVILLE, OR) Reviewed for a 2003 Subaru Impreza —8/18/2014 8:18 PM

I purchased the stainless steel muffler for my subaru impreza Wagon. Shipping was as expected, took about a week. After I received it I had to go buy fittings for it and had to have it welded on. It sounds amazing and I love it. I definitely recommend it.

Borla for 2012 Impreza Sport Prmium

Reviewed By Gordon L (Columbus, OH) Reviewed for a 2012 Subaru Impreza —1/23/2015 6:23 AM

It took about an hour to remove the OEM muffler and install Borla. Very easy to do since the bolts were not that rusty. After installation, I realise that there is more room in the muffler slot. Borla's SS muffler is much smaller than OEM one. The extra elbow room actually helped me when I replaced the OEM 16mm rear sway bar with a STI 19mm one a week later. The exhaust notes from the Borla are louder but not too loud that would wake up the neighbors. Ilike that. I will definitely recommend it.

WARNING : This will check engine light

Reviewed By cavan r (CATONSVILLE, MD) Reviewed for a 2005 Subaru Impreza —7/5/2013 11:50 PM

This is a great item. My turbo spool up increased tremendously, but since this downpipe is in between the your sensors, check engine light will more than likely happen. Be ready to spend more money after you buy this item. This is not a plug and play. I myself am getting a Cobb accessport. This will tune your engine to get rid of the light. There are other ways to fix the problem, but a tune is the right way.....
