Borls S-Type exhaust on stock 2011 Subaru WRX Hatchback

Reviewed By Bobby J (BRISTOL, TN) Reviewed for a 2011 Subaru WRX —12/20/2017 9:28 AM

If you're uncertain about which exhaust to go with keep in mind dual muffler systems won't work on a hatchback. You must go with the big single muffler sitting in the center of the car like the OEM part. That said, I love it! Paid local muffler shop $80 to install in 30 minutes. Sounds great. Not overly loud but throaty and rumbles nice at all throttle levels. I believe I can feel an increase in HP. Very happy with it. Throaty rumble is nice! no regrets, would spend the money again. Good not Great

Reviewed By Timothy Q (AUBREY, TX) Reviewed for a 2016 Subaru WRX —8/29/2017 6:53 AM

Well I got exactly what I ordered, it was easy to install, It looked great and everything fit as it should. Only thing I was disappointed about was the sound. Everything I saw on reviews and YouTube said it had a loud aggressive sound to it. Yes the sound has a nice deep rumble to it but it is by no means loud. I am going to buy a catless downpipe next to increase the flow, HP and sound. Hopefully that makes a bigger difference than this N1 alone.

So far, so good!!!

Reviewed By Richard D (SILOAM SPRINGS, AR) Reviewed for a 2014 Subaru WRX —5/4/2016 6:30 PM

Installation is plug and play. Came with bolts and clamps, good thing because stock bolt broke when removing old exhaust. Recommend at least 2 people for install if DYI. Someone needs to hold pipe while tightening. And when installing dual catbacks, you don't want to drop them or scratch them. And you need help to make sure they line up. Idle is rather quiet, but deep note. When stepping on it, has a deeper GROWL, med-loud sound! No fart can! Came with small scratch on tip though :(
