The Gibson cat-back exhaust system that I purchased for my 2000 Toyota Tacoma was a great price and left some money in my wallet to have it professionally installed at a reasonable cost. I recommend getting it welded up instead of using the clamps that come with the kit. That way, over time of off-roading and daily driving it won't come loose and create leaks. Overall I would recommend the Gibson cat-back system.

2000 Tacoma XtraCab V6

Overall, I am impressed with the JBA Exhaust for my Tacoma. I had far more trouble getting the old exhaust off (original from 2000) then I had getting the JBA installed. The two things I needed to get on my own were: - nuts and bolts for the coupler between cat and jba pipe - nuts for the o2 sensor connection - gasket for use between cat and jba pipe The exhaust sounds fairly good, though there is a light resonance between 1800-2500 rpm, but at idle its fairly quiet, and opens up sound wise as you increase the rpms.

Bad Ass Robust Sound

Fairly easy install though time consuming. Go at it easy and it will be fun. Managed to remove old and install by myself in about 2 hours. Clamps were somewhat difficult to seat. (Snapped one.) Local shop welded joints for $50, well worth it to prevent pesky exhaust leaks. My Tacoma turns heads on the take away for sure.
