"The Banks Exhaust was nicely packaged with every part wrapped and protected. The installation took less than an hour, nicely fitted and tight like the OEM exhaust. Sounds with a deeper and rumbling sound when on the pedal and quiet when cruising. I feel more torque on the high end and the gas milage remained the same. I highly recommend the Banks Monster Exhaust System." —Romeo H from El Paso, TX bought a Banks Monster Exhaust System for a 2008 Toyota Tacoma, Double cab, long bed, 4.0L V6.
"Great system, easy to install!! Sounds great!!! installs in 30 minutes. Great product!! Even better company!!" —Brandon L from Richmond, VA bought a Borla Exhaust Systems for a 2008 Toyota Tacoma, Crew cab, short bed, 4.0L V6.
"The install was very straight forward. Did not encounter any difficulties. All parts were included and instructions where easy to follow. The only issue was the pipes need to be flaired more before shipping. We had to expand the ends on several of the tubes to make the initial fit. Did not have a pipe expander but an old baseball and rubber mallet worked.
I am still waiting on gas savings. Have notice increase horsepower at high end acceleration. Overall very happy. I am concern with the limited choices for dual exhaust for a Tacoma." —Tommy L from Lilburn, GA bought a Flowmaster Exhaust Systems for a 2008 Toyota Tacoma, Double cab, 4.0L V6.
"I originally installed the flomaster dual kit but was not happy with the quality and fit of the system. Finally bought the Borla, it was easier to install and comes with and ingenious clamp system that makes for a seamless fit that looks and sounds great. I should have went with the Borla from the start." —Matthew P from Stockton, NJ bought a Borla Exhaust Systems for a 2008 Toyota Tacoma, Access cab, long bed, 4.0L V6.
"I thoroughly enjoy the new cat back sys. It was really easy to install and it sounds great! I can really feel a difference off the line!" —Michael D from Silver Spring, MD bought a Borla Exhaust Systems for a 2008 Toyota Tacoma.
"I.feel like.it.was.a lot of money. Not.to much noise but sounds amazing over 2,000 rpm" —Tim M from East Quogue, NY bought a Borla Exhaust Systems for a 2008 Toyota Tacoma, Access cab, long bed, 4.0L V6.
"About a 2.5 hour project from begining to end...that even includes a trip to Napa to but a new muffler hanger. The muffler hangers that come with the kit are not up to the quality of Flowmaster itself. I overtorqued two during the installation and they sheared. If they could provided a heavier hanger, quality would have been rated excellent." —John E from Helotes, TX bought a Flowmaster Exhaust Systems for a 2008 Toyota Tacoma, Double cab, 4.0L V6.
"sounds somewhat like a V8, the only issue I had is it hit my towing package and made a tinging noise; however, I fixed that. overall, it's an awesome exhaust and I would purchase again." —Nick B from Cartersville, GA bought a Banks Monster Exhaust System for a 2008 Toyota Tacoma, Double cab, short bed, 4.0L V6.
"My son and I installed the American Thunder duals on my Toyota Tacoma, with it sitting on the ground, in about 1-1/2 hours. The installation instructions were easy to follow and everything fitted perfectly. I love the looks and the sound. The performance of my Tacoma is noticibly better. This is a great product and is well worth the investment." —Larry T from Clayton, NC bought a Flowmaster Exhaust Systems for a 2008 Toyota Tacoma, Double cab, 4.0L V6.
"SO far I am enjoying the exhaust system, I have noticed a slight throttle response, and maybe a little increase in horsepower. Over all I am happy that I bought it" —John E from Americus , GA bought a Flowmaster Exhaust Systems for a 2008 Toyota Tacoma, Double cab, 4.0L V6.
"Tried installing this exhaust as soon as I received it. Removing old exhaust was impossible. Tried everything, penetrating oil, ect. Had to take it to a local shop, $250.00 later the exhaust was on. Sounds great, exactly what I was looking for. For the do it yourself kind of guy, trying to save a few bucks, understand it's very expensive to have a shop install, and they will not warranty their work." —Matthew B from Oakdale, CT bought a MBRP Exhaust Systems for a 2008 Toyota Tacoma, Double cab, short bed, 4.0L V6.
