"Borla is a lil on the pricey side but well werth it. I went with Borla because thats what the toyota dealerships use, plus the warranty. Nice deep tone, but not to loud. I also have a K&N cold air intake which sounds very good with the exhaust. Ship time was very fast, ordered on a monday and recieved the product on wednesday. Installation was a breeze, no problems at all. Haven't really been able to tell any gain in mpg or hp yet. I have the stainless steel dual side exist which looks great on my black 06 d-cab tundra with the xsp-package. I recommend the both the Borla exhaust and the K&N CAI. Would have given 5 stars due to the price." —Kenneth B from Savannah, GA bought a Borla Exhaust Systems for a 2006 Toyota Tundra.
"The old exhaust came out in one piece with the rear end up on jackstands. The Gibson easily bolts right in the old spot. Overall install was 1.5 hours, the longest part was getting the angles and spacing perfect on the dual angled split system. The sound is perfect all the time and it really comes to life with a lead foot. No annoying drone, especially at freeway cruising speeds like other systems. Definite HP and MPG increase, and when grouped with an intake it's even better. Mid-range power really increased leading to less down shifting and lower rpm's (200-250 when cruising).
Overall, best bang for you $$$. You won't be dissapointed!!!" —Jason O from Tigard, OR bought a Gibson Exhaust Systems for a 2006 Toyota Tundra.
"Very easy to install, took about 1 hr. Perfect fit and good quality. These exhaust were the perfect product for my truck. Sounds great with not too much noise I researched different systems and found Borla to be the best with the best warranty also Auto Anything was the cheepest, these guys are great to deal with and customer service was great." —William R from Suffolk, VA bought a Borla Exhaust Systems for a 2006 Toyota Tundra.
"Very easy to install. Looks great and sounds great. Not too loud, just right. No complaints at all" —David R from West Monroe, LA bought a Borla Exhaust Systems for a 2006 Toyota Tundra.
"Of the systems out there this is probably the best performance for the money. I have owned the TRD exhaust and the JBA exhaust prior...
The sound is outstanding.
The only drawback is the connections. I wish one of these manufacturers would set a precedent and use v-band connections as they are by far the best exhaust connection type...." —Chad M from Rosemount, MN bought a Magnaflow Exhaust Systems for a 2006 Toyota Tundra, Double cab, 6' 6" short bed, 4.7L V8.
"I purchased the system for my 2006 Tundra 4x4 and found the installation went very well and fit nicely. The sound and appearance is great. While the system creates the tone I was looking to hear, it is not overpowering from within the cab as with other exhaust systems. I am very pleased with this purchase." —Scott M from Brentwood, CA bought a Magnaflow Exhaust Systems for a 2006 Toyota Tundra, Double cab, 6' 6" short bed, 4.7L V8.
"I didn't skimp on the exhaust I chose and it's a high quality product. I removed the stock pipe and muffler and installed the Borla duelies (side exit) by myself in just under two hours. It wouldn't have taken me that long but the OE bolt had to be cut off with a grinder and I didn't have any extra help to support it or to check leveling of the pipes. Many trips under the pickup and back out.
I already had a K&N cold air kit and that helped with power and mileage. The Borlas gave it another 1-2 mpg, crazy power and awesome sound with a nice increase on bottom (the five speed automatic doesn't down shift as frequently). Overall very nice product" —Colllin C from Williston, ND bought a Borla Exhaust Systems for a 2006 Toyota Tundra.
"Had the old exhaust off and the new one installed in under an hour. Sounds and looks incredible! Thank you." —Dana A from Chicopee, MA bought a Borla Exhaust Systems for a 2006 Toyota Tundra.
"Installation was easy, took less than an hour to complete. The Gibson really made my Tundra Double Cab V-8 come alive. The Gibson cat back has the power in the right tork band, compared to other brands on the market. I notice the increased horsepower and a little better mpg. It is hard to keep my foot off the gas." —Michael A from Sherman Oaks, CA bought a Gibson Exhaust Systems for a 2006 Toyota Tundra, Double cab, 6' short bed, 4.7L V8.
"The Heart Throb cat back system arrived when promised from Auto Anything.Although I could have put the system on,I had it done at a local muffler shop due to 100+temp ,It was installed in about 30 min. fit and finsh was excellent, though I did have to purchase a stainless tip for the system, sound is just where it needs to be." —Stephen R from Kingman, AZ bought a Heartthrob Cat-Back Exhaust System for a 2006 Toyota Tundra.
