Catalytic Converter Reviews

The old converter was loose inside and making a terrible sound. Magnaflow advertised that it was a direct replacement; no modifications. WELL IT IS! EXACT FIT! I ALSO INSTALLED A GIBSON EXHAUST: CAT BACK. I noticed that my engine runs slightly cooler, and at acceleration I can feel a difference(not neck snapping but it seems to run better). I was impressed with the quality and the workmanship, it is excellent. Time will really tell, but by the appearance of the converter it looks like it will out last the truck. A couple years back I had the converter replaced at a muffler shop and it hasn't lasted that long: the price was well over $150. LISTEN, IF YOU NEED A CAT BY ALL MEANS BUY THIS ONE, HONESTLY!

This unit worked out well. However, getting off the OEM unit can be a trick as it is one piece. Trust me just pay your local shop the $100.00 to ssitch them out. The new one just bolts on but not worth the fight getting off the OEM cats. You still will beat any local price I found. Plus Autoanything really did match and even beat the best price I could find.

Easy bolt on and direct fit. Notice improved performance and sound. Highly pleased with this item. O2 sensors are in the right locations.
