Gibson Suburban/Silverado Exhaust

Reviewed By Chris K (DOTHAN, AL) Reviewed for a 2015 Chevy Suburban —5/31/2017 3:29 PM

Very Nice exhaust overall. Great sound outside the Suburban with no sound obtrusion or drone into the cabin. Tips look great! Instructions too vague for anyone with no experience on install. Also, install would be much smoother with better piping clamps and a hanger for the muffler in the OEM position

Great Flowmaster sound

Reviewed By Christopher a V (San Antonio, TX) Reviewed for a 1999 Chevy Suburban —5/25/2017 12:48 PM

Exhaust sounds great; I combined this catback with the Flowmaster midpipe and catalytic converter setup as well. Vehicle has more power, not sure which this is from as they were replaced at same time. Tailpipe is tucked up nicely at the side exit. Only issue is the system comes real close to driveshaft and had to do some configuring to get it not work its way towards the driveshaft on the rubber isolators while vehicle is moving. Good bang for the buck!

Not happy with fuel milage!!

Reviewed By Lyle P (Juneau, WI) Reviewed for a 2011 Chevy Suburban —5/8/2017 4:07 PM

I bought a Super 50 muffler to get better milage for I've got AFE air cleaner on now for a year.I also noticed that the muffler is as quiet as the old muffler.I didn't notice a fuel mileage gain as to today I had to go somewhere and put 117 miles on and only got 18.4 where as the same trip with old muffler I got 20.7 mpg. I've got a 2011 suburban w/3:42 gears which gives me low RPM's. Don't understand why because I put one of these on my 2500 pickup with same Engine but w/3.73 gear's
