Awesome exhaust system for Durango R/T
Love the sound and quality of this exhaust system. Screams when you stomp on the gas, but is very mellow with no drone when cruising. Exactly what I was looking for. It is certainly pricey, I remember the days when exhaust systems were a fraction of the cost. Easy install doing it solo in my driveway. Takes a few times adjusting the get the exhaust tips lined up perfectly. Had to torque 10ft lbs higher than what the instructions say to get things to stop moving.
Excellent sound, exceptional quality
The Borla exhaust I installed on my 14 Durango R/T sounds amazing. Install was simple. Took me about 2 hours total on my back, in my garage. The only complaints I'd make is there is a lot of exposed muffler in the back. Would love to have seen it either polished or the Borla brackets shown in some of the other exhaust systems. Also, the directions could have been a bit more descriptive. There's still a few do-it-yourselfers out there.
Not a "bolt on", but nice setup.
First off, instructions say "bolt on", this does not "bolt on". You will need a hacksaw and some automotive knowledge. It's easy, but that needs to be known. This exhaust sounds great without being obnoxious. I was eyeing some cat back systems but have read a lot about people having drone issues due to the MDS so I opted for keeping the stock "briefcase" under the truck. Installed in about an hour or so. Measure twice, cut once. All in all I really like this setup.
