Flowmaster dBX Series Hushpower Mufflers Customer Reviews
6 Customer Reviews
You can hear a junky sport compact muffler from a mile away. Their hollow, tinny tone sounds like dry beans bouncing around an empty coffee can. But, with Flowmaster dBX Series Hushpower Mufflers mounted to your compact speed fiend, your tail pipe spits out a symphony of menacing music.
What sets Flowmaster dBX Mufflers apart is their cutting-edge core technology. When spent fumes reach your Hushpower muffler, the hot gases speed up in the entry cone, smooth out in the laminar flow chamber, and launch out the exit cone with nearly no resistance. Meanwhile, the sound waves bounce back and forth along a specific path until they roll out as a smooth, refined rumble.
Better yet, dBX Hushpower Mufflers are built tough for years of dependable dampening. Their guts are wrought from 409 stainless, and the case is made from 304 stainless that's lightly polished. You can pick from multiple inlet and outlet sizes to fit everything from Civics to GTIs. And, every Flowmaster Hushpower Muffler includes a limited Lifetime Warranty.

Did a muffler delete, too much drone, so replaced my resonator with this Flowmaster muffler, sounds good. Loud on the outside, purrs on the inside. Not too loud at cruise or idle tho

GREAT BUY AND GOOD PRICE I MOUNTED ON MY SUZUKI SAMURAI 1.6 WITH THE FLOWMASTER CATALYTIC CONVERTER.VERY QUITE ON 1,000 RPM BUT BIG CHANGE ON 3,000 RPM BOTH SOUND AND RESPOND. I THINK PERFORM LITTLE HP AND NOTABLE RESPOND DURING THE ACCELERATION. (I POLISH BEFORE INSTALL AND LOOK AWESOME )

Exactly what I was looking for. Low in can drone even up to 80 mph, a great compliment to my K&N cold air intake. Haven't had it on long enough to know MPG gains. Good rumble at start and idle. Increases as RPM's rise until about 3500 and then it sounds stock. Very happy with my choice.

This is an excellent choice if you've had trouble eliminating drone on the highway but still want aggressive sound under heavy throttle. It doesn't buzz or fart, just a very clean, deep note. That said, it is still moderately loud. Not a lot of resonance and droning, but you'll hear it.
