Installed very easy. Instructions were pretty good, installation was a snap. Perfect fit using original hangers. Muffler itself has a deep rich tone, but not too obnoxious. I highly recommend this product!

exhaust size?

how do I tell what size inlet/outlet diameter I need on my 2002 Dodge ram 2500 gas engine?

Hi Dave, as long as you're mounting the new muffler to the existing pipes, you need to measure the inlet and outlet size of your currently installed muffler.

Exhaust Tip - Cutting required?

Ok this may sound obvious to those who have installed before, however I can’t locate any info on the topic. I have a 2012 Impala where the OEM exhaust comes out about flush with the bumper. If I buy a pair of the Gibson Rolled Exhaust Tip Inlet Size 2.25", Outlet Size 3", Length 6", will I have to cut off some of the current exhaust so it doesn’t stick out too far- or will I be able to slide the tip on, adjusting where I think it needs to be. In other words how much of the current pipe can I slide into the tip?

Hello Doug. You may have to do that depending on how far is too far for you, if your pipe currently goes out to the bumper edge, then this tip will extent past the bumper 6’’. Thank you for your question.
