I purchased the ATAK version for my 6.2 and wow what a difference from stock. Cold start is very loud but it mellows a bit as it warms up to a nice rumble. You hear it on acceleration and some lower speed cruise conditions. Highway cruise you barely hear it. I don't hear any drone with afm still active either. In closing if you really want hear that v8 sing go ATAK, if you kinda want to hear it sing go s-type and if you want slightly louder than stock go touring or the GM Borla. Looks great

Easy instructions, can follow from step to step. Being the first time to attempt this projecf on my own, I killed it, two easy hours and done. Great sound from the super 50 and the chrome tips were the bomb. But do you get some much growl outside but maintain a quiet interior. FLOMASTER RULES
Did not fit out of the box - modifications required.
I have a 1/2 ton 1999 GMC Sierra Extended Cab Long Bed pickup and Gibson is about the only company that still makes an aftermarket cat-back system that will fit my truck. It was supposed to be a simple bolt-on installation, but the exhaust system was too long and didn't line up with the stock exhaust hangers on my truck so I had to cut one pipe shorter. I'm still working with Gibson on a few issues, but overall the quality isn't bad however the fitment issues were a huge disappointment.
