"Took a bit to install and one of the brackets was rubbing so it needed to be ground down, then the right pipe was too close to the body because the factory hanger was too tight. But outside of those issues it was easy. Plus it sounds great and looks much better than stock." —Janet J from Bloomingdale, IL bought a Flowmaster Exhaust Systems for a 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee.
"The build on this is okay, until you try to install it...not sure if this was just a bad batch I got. Anyways, the right side X-pipe connection/plate where it goes to the vehicles exhaust didn't fit. Whoever welded it, the pipe was about 3/4" too far out and had to modifed. Took an extra hour to fix it in 95F degree heat. Using the exsisting bolts/spring mentioned in the instructions wasn't possible - because again of poor, poor quality. The finish on it had rust marks from the spot welds.
In hind sight, I should've stuck with Corsa, which I am more familiar with their quality and finish." —Ray M from New Albany, OH bought a Borla Exhaust Systems for a 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee, Automatic, 5.7L V8.
"Grand Cherokee with 3.7L V-6. The steel is not highly polished (except for the tip). T409 stainless steel is lower in chromium content than the T304 used by some other manufacturers. This keeps the price down. That said, the system is very easy to install. The 4" tip looks good. It gives my V-6 a nice "growl" no rumble. Improves throttle response slightly. I would not pay the extra again for the T409 stainless steel model." —Steven C from Las Vegas, NV bought a Gibson Exhaust Systems for a 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee, 3.6L V6.
"The overall sound is definitely better than stock. I was worried that the interior sound would have to much drone to it like most Flowmaster systems, but at cruising speeds its just noticeable. Didn't really notice any horsepower gains, maybe a little better MPG.
The whole removal and installation process took me a little over two hours. In the instructions it says that it's a tight fitting system and they weren't lying. I had to cut off about an 1-1/2" of piping on each side before the scavenger assembly just to get it to fit together." —Joshua H from Gibson, LA bought a Flowmaster Exhaust Systems for a 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee, R/T, 5.7L Hemi.
