Great Bang for the buck
Well first off, the manifolds look nothing like the picture. You can see all the heat/burn marks from the welds and overall look was horrible. There is no real difference in sound (as expected installing aftermarket headers), but I can tell a little difference in power - Maybe 8-10 horsepower. If you're looking for performance and sound, this is not the product for you. If you simply just want to replace the stock cracked manifolds cheaper than from factory, then this is the product for you.
headers for the 2.8 GM V6
The pacesetter kit was complete.Everything is in it.Fit beautiful. The easiest set I ever installed. They drop in from the top.Now the bad part, the paint is still burning off ( stinks). The EGR MOUNT IS OFF,ANGLED TO THE AC ACUMULATOR.THE EGR MOUNT IS WRONG.I HAD TO FAB UP EGR DELETE PLATE AT THE HEADER AND INTAKE. THE IDLER PULLY NOW HAS NO REAR SUPPORT,NEITHER DOE'S THE POWER STEERING. NOW I HAVE ALL THIS VIBRATION/NOISE.I'VE SUPERTUNED THIS CAR.NEW TIMING SET,HYPERTEC CHIP,AC#1 PLUGS,MSD COIL,
Good fit (not great)...lets see how durable over time...
direct fit converter fit good. my only complaint is the front O2 sensor isn't angled out enough towards the front resulting in a very tight fit with very little clearance to the timing belt cover. also the O2 bungs for the front O2 sensor for early and late model fitment are welded to close together resulted in trimming the heat sheild for the O2 sensor to be able to screw in to the exhaust. The only thing left is to see is how durable the SS pipes & welds hold up.
