Magnaflow Exhaust System Reviews

Great exhaust. Installation was very easy without even lifting my 2005 Nissan Frontier off of the ground. The only problem I had was that I had to cut about a half inch off of the rear of the muffler pipe to get the tailpipe to fit. Other than that the installation was a piece of cake. Great sounding exhaust. Gets pretty loud around the 2000 rpm range and stays loud all the way until the redline but a comfortable sound level at cruising speed. But if you jump on it you will turn some heads with the nice deep sound it makes. Couldnt only tell a slight difference in power but have gained about 1.5 mpg. Pretty pricey for an exhaust system but totally worth it in my opinion. Highly recommended.

My first large purchase from Auto Anything. The experience was fantastic! Auto Anything provided all the essentials for a smooth replacement of some worn out Cats. The fit and finish of the Mannaflow cats was perfect. I would recommend squirting ALL nuts and bolts on your old exhaust with penetrating lube everyday while you are waiting for delivery. Even if they look fine. It never hurts to have a torch around as well when dealing with exhaust components. We had two bolts break off in the stock exhaust manifold. Big pain drilling and tapping. I would highly recommend any purchase with Auto Anything. They are courtious and efficient!Peter,Raleigh, NC

package came fast even around the holidays , installed it the day it came in. had flowmaster previous to this purchase wanted something a little louder and better tone. its a little louder when i get on it hard , but overall has a nice rumble. happy i got it and at a competitive price. good product thanks autoanything.james-lasvegas

Bought this universal muffler after much research. Had a magnaflow recommended shop in seattle install it for about $80. The sound is deep and muffled and tolerable at all operating speeds and certainly not overbearingly loud. There is a certain resonance at certain RPM's, but this should be expected. At cruise speeds it's barely noticeable. My car already has good sound insulation properties and I would recommend this universal muffler if you're only interested in replacing your stock muffler. It also weighs considerably less than the stock muffler and you're getting less exhaust restriction.

I first had stock exhaust and I removed the resanator and I replaced the stock resonator to 2 smaller resonators and that sounded good but it was a mistake,After I replaced the stock mufflers with Dinan Free Flow Exhaust I still had the 2 small resonators on the exhaust and it was way to loud!So I removed the resonator and replaced it with the Magaflow X-Pipe the sound and performance were day and night difference.The sound was absolutely superfluous and what I've been trying to achieve from the beginning.This is the best investment I've made on the car for the exhaust hands down.If you have a BMW X5 and you'd like to improve the sound and achieve the growl,buy a Magnaflow X-Pipe and you'll be happy.
