Like others, only problem was the original bolts at the converter. One came off with no problem, the other I just snapped off with a little extra torque. New bolts and clamps included but no gasket. Matched one up at parts store. Maybe the State Trooper won't pull my wife over for loud exhaust now. It's quieter than the glass pack that was on it when we bought Mini 10 years ago. The new system gives off nice sound when putting your foot in it, but not so loud under normal driving. We're happy.
just what i was asking for
the magnaflow exhaust turned out to be just what i was asking for; made my car a good bit louder and noticably faster. my mini's supercharger whine can still be heard but now the car also has the pop and burble when getting off the gas and a deep rich tone when i get on it.... live in the mountains of north carolina on some awesome twisty roads and now the car has the sound to match the fun...
Great but not for Convertibles
I got the parts thinking this would work for my Convertible but I was wrong. The site does not say it will not work for convertibles. It only says it for 2006 Mini Cooper S. There needs to be an extra bend in the pipe to get around a bracket for Convertibles. Please fix this as I wasted money and time trying to shoehorn your pipe.
